Physical and Sexual Abuse

          I have worked for over forty years with victims, and survivors of physical and sexual abuse in in-patient and out-patient settings.

         I help clients deal with their past abuse in their own time, when they are ready. 

        I teach about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and trauma.

       We work on coping with:

            - flashbacks

            - being victimized

            - grieving for losses

            - letting go of the past

            - developing healthy defense

             mechanisms

           - gaining control of their lives
